The Kentucky High School Media Institute offers summer workshops as well as contests and conferences during the school year for high school journalists and students interested in pursuing further education or careers in media. As a component of WKU’s 21st Century Media Program of Distinction, the programs are held on campus and give participants an opportunity to interact with faculty, staff and students from WKU’s School of Journalism and Broadcasting and Office of Student Publications.
